On Saturday, June 20th, 18 dedicated golfing teams weathered the rain to play golf for The Autism Connection in our 1st annual golf tournament at Thunderhart Golf Course. Thank you to all the players and sponsors for your support, we raised $5,300.00. We're planning to use these funds for a family "fun" day picnic and parent & sibling support groups for families impacted by autism. A special thank you to Bob & MaryEllen Neppl for all your help in organizing the tournament, you guys are awesome! You made our tournament a success. A special thank you to Kevin Smith also, your prompt response to all my nagging phone calls made the day go without a hitch! We hope to see everyone again next year at our 2nd annual golf tournament.
